Warranty Period

AGMECO Faucets Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AFPL) warrants to the end-user customer that AGMECO products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years* from the date of purchase.

If AFPL receives notice of such defect during the warranty period, AFPL will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the defective product(s) or component(s).

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from misuse, improper storage or handling, incorrect installation, use of cleaning methods other than those recommended, abnormal water quality in certain regions, or normal wear and tear.

If AFPL is unable, within a reasonable time (except in circumstances beyond its control), to repair or replace the defective product(s), the purchaser will be entitled to a refund of the purchase price.

Please note:

• Fragile items such as rubber washers, O-rings, plastic parts, and small brass nuts are excluded from coverage, as damage to these items through use is considered normal wear.
• Damage to internal brass components caused by abnormal water quality or use with fluids other than water is not covered.

AFPL makes no other express warranties, written or oral. In no event shall AFPL or its suppliers be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits), whether arising from contract or any other legal theory.

Obsolescence and Product Discontinuation

This warranty is subject to the continued availability of the relevant product, components, and spare parts. If any product, component, cartridge, mechanism, casting, or spare part becomes obsolete, discontinued, superseded, or is no longer commercially or technically feasible to manufacture or procure, AGMECO shall have no obligation to manufacture, procure, or supply such item solely for warranty purposes.

In such cases, AGMECO may, at its sole discretion.
(i) Repair the product using compatible or upgraded components at the customer's cost.
(ii) Retrofit or upgrade the product to accept available components at the customer's cost.
(iii) Offer an equivalent or higher-specification replacement at the prevailing price, with such concession, if any, as AGMECO may decide
(iv) Offer any other commercially and technically feasible solution on mutually agreed terms.

AGMECO shall have the sole discretion to determine technical feasibility, compatibility, equivalence, retrofit suitability, and the appropriate remedy. Any repair, retrofit, upgrade, or replacement may differ in design, dimensions, finish, colour, appearance, operating mechanism, or aesthetic compatibility with the original product or surrounding fittings. The customer accepts such differences and waives any claim for refund, compensation, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other loss or damage arising therefrom or from the non-availability of obsolete products or parts, provided the product remains fit for its intended purpose.

Conditions of Warranty

This warranty applies only to products installed in residential applications. It does not extend to products used in commercial settings. The warranty also excludes installation or labor charges.

The warranty will not apply to:

• Products repaired, altered, or modified by the purchaser or any unauthorized person, or where non-original AFPL spare parts have been used without prior written approval.
• Products not installed, used, maintained, or stored in accordance with AFPL’s instructions.
• Products used for purposes other than their intended residential application.
• Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, freezing, accidents, or faulty installation/maintenance.
• Products damaged by dirt, salt water/air, hard water, lime-scale, or abrasive/aggressive cleaners.

If the normal lifespan of any product is shorter than the stated warranty period, coverage will apply only for the duration of that shorter lifespan.

Important Notice

1. *The 10-year warranty is based on standard domestic usage conditions of approximately 30 cycles per day, equating to about 100,000 cycles over 10 years.
2. Warranty claims are valid only when supported by a genuine bill or cash memo from an authorized dealer.
3. Sensors and Health Faucets carry a warranty of 1 year.
4. Spares and other faucet parts/accessories carry a warranty of 2 years.
